These H.E.P.A. components consist of
3/4" particle board sides, waterproof glass media, aluminum
separators, and a rubber based adhesive which is self extinguishing.
Aluminum or Galvanized Steel frames are also available. Face gasketing
is found on one side of the H.E.P.A.
The HEPA comes in 95% and, 99.97%.
These filters are primarily used in contaminant free environments.
Each individual filter is D.O.P. (Dioctyl Phthalate) tested in
accordance with Army Instruction manual 136-300-175A, using cold DOP
Smoke particles. The filter is tested at .3 microns. The scanning test
is performed in accordance with Fed. Standard 209b. All tests are run
on each individual filter.
